Key Objectives and Scope of the Position
Responsible for leading fuel cell system validation team on system level according to legal and internal requirements in close cooperation with suppliers, internal partners
Major Responsibilities and Degree of Influence
Create and manage a project specific validation plan based on generic definitions. Take into account the need for prototype parts, testing resources and budget - Approval
Leading fuel cell system T&V team and make sure no show stopper to project - Full Responsibility
Create and manage test specifications based on the technical specification and market specific legal requirements - Approval
Plan prototype parts demands and usage, follow up of the procurement process in close cooperation with the supplier, the purchasing departments, the project management and testing departments - Approval
Align test activities and methods with internal test field, external test centers and suppliers - Full Responsibility
Review test results internal test field, external test centers and suppliers - Full Responsibility
Conclude on actions upon deviations of test results from expected behavior - Full Responsibility
Give release recommendations for fuel cell system during the prototyping phase as well as for the product release in accordance to the validation plan - Full Responsibility

Qualifications
Education / Degree:
Bachelor, Master in electrical engineering, electrical power engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering or related majors
Knowledge / Skills /Competences
Understanding of architectures and components in hybrid and electric vehicles
Fuel cell system or HV battery management systems and functions
Test data management and analysis tools
Understanding of fuel cell electric and thermal behavior at system level
Knowledge in measurement and CAN communication tools (INCA, CANalyzer, …)
Strong project management and planning skills
Experience
Working experience as engineer in software development, function development, E/E integration, product
validation or calibration
team management experience
Working experience in the automotive development for powertrain or vehicle electronics
Optional working experience with high voltage systems like HV batteries and E-motors, electric energy
converters and bus communication
Working experiences with control unit, bus communication and vehicle functional structure
